Ugh, of course the greys and reds scan crappily, AS USUAL. Stupid scanners.
Did the best I could to fix it, I think I cleaned it up pretty well
Watercolours and Acrylics (White) on Watercolour paper.
Watercolours for everything basically, but I used Acrylics to make the snow and icesickles and for a bit of the reflections on the windows and other such thingies.
This took me a LOT less time to paint than I thought It would.
I think the reason is that it was a lot of smaller details and smaller areas and no large areas that needing filling in.
I basically painted this in about 12 hours (10 of those today straight from noon to almost 10).
The sketch took me days, I dont remember how long and the inking took about an hour or so.
Anyway, so there it is, my Christmas painting for 2006!
I'm going to put it in a calender for probably 2008 and the print is on its way
