Ugh, of course the greys and reds scan crappily, AS USUAL. Stupid scanners. Did the best I could to fix it, I think I cleaned it up pretty well
Watercolours and Acrylics (White) on Watercolour paper.
Watercolours for everything basically, but I used Acrylics to make the snow and icesickles and for a bit of the reflections on the windows and other such thingies.
This took me a LOT less time to paint than I thought It would. I think the reason is that it was a lot of smaller details and smaller areas and no large areas that needing filling in. I basically painted this in about 12 hours (10 of those today straight from noon to almost 10).
The sketch took me days, I dont remember how long and the inking took about an hour or so.
Anyway, so there it is, my Christmas painting for 2006! I'm going to put it in a calender for probably 2008 and the print is on its way
Oh, wow! The detail in this is just stunning! Your work blows me away every time! It looks just like an illustration for something like The Christmas Carol. It’s classic and the colors are as beautiful, fresh and crisp as a winter day. Great work!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
The Cutting Edge is a weekly article that features brand new selected high quality art products that caught our eyes. Check out the cutting edge prints some of your fellow artists have submitted in the past week!
